There is an old rule: Energy before Action, meaning that you should root your action in the Self, before taking it for the biggest fruits of your action.
To connect with the Self, you need to be rested and Calm. It’s hard to be connected if you are tired, mentally, physically or emotionally.
RESTING is the thing we seek naturally: through the practice of asana, meditation, BodyMarc, taking power naps during the day, or going on holidays.
RESTING is the simplest action you can take, and at the same time the most difficult one: when people are tensed, they want to do something, because when they try to relax, they see more clearly their tensions: it’s hard to JUST LIE DOWN AND DO NOTHING, when you have ants in your pants..checking emails, checking the time, weather, checking activities to do and jumping immediately onto taking them.
It took just 2 minutes of BodyMarc Duo Session that Paweł gave me today on the beach, for me to fall into 4h nap. I woke up tired but refreshed, and understood how tired I was, and how much I tried to escape realizing it, and JUST RESTING.
