I remember the surprise of one of my students, when she discovered that when we speak about relaxation of the stomach when with horses, we really mean the stomach that is inside of your body, and not the abdominal muscles or your core muscles.
BodyMarc Technique provides tools to expand your awareness on the parts of your body that you thought that you have a very little or no access to, like: lungs (and breathing with every lung separately, which is the core of straightness!), and stomach (and ability to consciously flex it, move it inside your body and release it in full relaxation).
Tensed stomach doesn’t have to go together with tensions of the abdominal muscles, what is more: a tensed stomach limit your ability to breathe freely when riding and in turn causes crookedness in your body.
I am beyond excited that we will be able to share with you our wonderful BodyMarc session designed to support the relaxation of the stomach.
You will learn that when stomach relaxes, you will have a different taste, you will crave different things to eat, and you will be able to see which lung you use more to breathe and how it affects your body posture.
Work on relaxation of the stomach can also result in your horse clenching the teeth less, and that he will stop biting or nipping at you. During my Clinics I many times saw this magic happening in the flesh: whenever a person was guided to consciously relax the stomach, the horse stopped nipping or being pushy.
