I remember well when Cadeau de Dieu came to us. She came with the patch of “the farriers’ nightmare”, and she was literally living on two legs at that time. Unimaginably agile, unbelievably strong, and quick like a lightning.
Today, when I was giving her hooves a light retouch before our training, I realized how far we have come together.
Cadeau needed TONS of Calmness from the people’s side. Our Calmness glued everything together in her Life. Our calm decidedness and relaxation allowed her to trust in us, in the rules of our coexistence, and that they won’t change.
