One of the biggest shocks of my life was during the first few minutes of the first lecture at the University. The words I heard from the professor were: “During these studies we will talk a lot about beauty. So we should start from understanding what it is: Beauty is something that is beautiful to someone.” And that was honestly the last moment we spoke about beauty, later we stuck only to the form, colors, composition , etc.
Later, thanks to horses and OneHorseLife, I understood that beauty is so much more. It’s not only what we perceive as beautiful. Beauty is an expression of truth. And when you seek, actively seek beauty, you can find truth 💓Beauty awakens truth and enlivens it in us when we experience beauty. Everyone perceives beauty differently, because our perception is the reflection of our awareness.
When you turn from understanding beauty to experiencing beauty, you can find out that beauty cannot be created by the mind, and that it cannot be defined or closed by its perception – and that is alone a very deep insight into the truth about the world and how it is functioning.
Thanks to horses I understood why I felt attracted to the subject of my studies in the first place, and why my pure and honest desire could not be answered at the University… and why it’s answered today in every minute of my Life. I seek beauty, and in beauty I find truth.
