Nearly every single day some of you reach out to me and say “My horse nips at me, what to do?”, and “My horse is SO spooky, please advice!”, and “My horse is not motivated AT ALL to work, please help!” — And then I start to tell you about Calmness, and expanding awareness through body awareness and BodyMarc techniques… WHY??!!
Am I THAT irresponsible?!? Or just CRAZY??? ;)
Why am I not giving direct answers to direct questions, but instead trying to direct your whole attention elsewhere and keeping on inviting you to take the next steps in a totally opposite direction than the one that your problem calls you to take?
Let me explain…
Awareness is the Flow of Attention
Every single day the whole Universe tries to show you where are the root problems that cause all the bouncing and tossing in your Life. Of course today you do not see the ROOT tension that is the primary cause of all that can be seen on as irritating or tiring or troubling bubbles on the surface, because if you were aware of it, it would be dissolved and the problems that you experience would simply not exist.
So the Universe needs to PIN POINT your attention at something that you can work with now, that you WOULD SEE NOW, that is important to you now.
But not for you to start to work with it now, but to look deeper and see the true cause of all the bubbling, and tossing, and bouncing that you may be experiencing every single day…
You need to know where to start to look for the cause, before you can find it.
To solve the problem, you have to know what the problem really is
To solve the problem, you have to firstly be aware of it, and secondly you have to know the root cause that causes it.
We can say that the Awareness is the flow of the attention: you feel something, you start to see something, you are able to hear something and you become instantly aware of it. Where you direct your attention at, you become aware of it.
The problem that you usually see when you start to be alert that “Something is not right” is just the tip of the iceberg of the real problem that you need to become aware of in your Life. The tip of the iceberg had to occur, so the Nature could direct your attention to it and direct it at something that you can start with… but it is never about it.
Touching the tip of the iceberg
Addressing the problem from the level of the tip of the iceberg, is like knowing where the tips of the icebergs are on the North Sea and planing the route of your ship according to their locations without taking into account the fact that there are still great masses of the ice around them hidden underwater: you can do that, but you have to be sure that you will keep on hitting and hitting and hitting the ice that is under the water, until you will learn to look mostly there… under the surface of the water.
Sounds simple. But not without the first clue: look at the tip of the iceberg. And then look deeper.
The Nature directs the flow of your attention
Without the tip of the iceberg how would you know where to start? You could have decided that “I will look through the surface of the water only” but if you do not look close to the tip of the iceberg, you can look and look and look and there is a good chance that you won’t find anything, because you will look in all the wrong places.
To see, you have to know where to start to look at.
Your attention has to be directed in the right place, for you to become aware of something.
And the greatest possible sign to direct your attention in all the right places is the tip of the iceberg: the problem that you are “having” right now in your life and that you think that is so important and need to be solved right now.
No, it doesn’t need to be solved. This problem doesn’t even exists. It is just the NEON BLINKING SIGN with a RED FLASHY ARROW telling you: HEY! LOOK IN THIS DIRECTION!! LOOK DEEPER!!!
Once you find the root of the problem, the tip of your iceberg, and the whole iceberg will just melt down.
See the tip of the iceberg, but look deeper...
My advice for you is a very simple one: LOOK AT EVERY TIP OF THE ICEBERG IN YOUR LIFE with a smile, and ask it to reveal the direction that you should travel to Find Out Who You Really Are.
For a very long time I myself HAD THIS ENORMOUS craving for tomatoes. I was nearly sick if I didn’t have a tomato EVERY SINGLE DAY. My whole attention was directed to tomatoes. My whole body was craving them. Not to show me that I like them, but to show me that THIS!!! THIS you have a very high food intolerance to!
Now, nearly 4 weeks without any tomatoes, I look at a tomato and I feel that I would prefer to have my hand cut than to have one.
But I had to allow myself to eat them so much, that I developed the skin rush, so I run the very complex food allergy tests, and discovered that tomatoes among many other kinds of foods cause my body to react in a way that shows me that it doesn’t serve me. Without it I would never run these tests and would not know not only about tomatoes, but also all other kinds of foods that don’t serve me.
So, enjoy your freedom of choice and allow the UNIVERSE to direct THE FLOW OF YOUR ATTENTION IN THE RIGHT PLACES! Do not be suspicious, do not try to be smart, do not try to out-smart the system. For there is no system! Just follow the tips you are given, and the right answers will come, because…
Every single time we look in the right direction, we start to see something important!

Oh Anna, this article really spoke to me! I am at the tip of the iceberg! I am becoming more and more aware of directions I need to go, but still without knowing the whole picture or plan.
