Event: OneHorseLife Open Day
Location: OneHorseLife headquarters, including the stable yard, arenas, paddocks, parking area, walkways, buildings, facilities, outdoor spaces and any surrounding areas used for the event.
By registering for, entering, or attending the OneHorseLife Open Day, the participant confirms that they have read, understood, accepted, and agreed to the following Terms & Conditions.
1. Participation at Own Risk
The participant acknowledges and accepts that the OneHorseLife Open Day takes place at an active equestrian facility where horses, riders, trainers, staff, equipment, vehicles, machinery, stable dogs, uneven ground, wet surfaces, fences, gates, electric fencing, tools, stable materials, and other normal yard-related risks may be present.
The participant understands that horses are large, powerful, sensitive, quick, unpredictable animals. Even well-trained horses may spook, kick, bite, push, run, jump, pull away, react suddenly, or cause injury without warning.
The participant enters the premises and attends the Open Day entirely at their own risk from the moment they cross the entrance gate until the moment they fully leave the premises.
2. Assumption of All Risks
The participant voluntarily assumes all risks connected with attending the Open Day, including but not limited to:
- injury caused directly or indirectly by horses;
- injury caused by being near horses, riders, trainers, demonstrations, arenas, paddocks, stables or equipment;
- injury caused by slipping, tripping, falling, uneven ground, mud, weather conditions, fences, gates, vehicles, machinery or stable materials;
- injury during non-riding and non-horse activities, including walking, observing, standing, sitting, moving around the property, parking, entering or leaving the premises;
- emotional distress, fear, shock, discomfort, allergic reactions, or other personal reactions connected with animals, the environment, or the event;
- damage, loss, theft, or destruction of personal belongings, vehicles, equipment, clothing, phones, cameras or other property.
The participant confirms that they attend voluntarily, with full awareness of these risks.
3. Release and Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, OneHorseLife.com B.V., Anna Marciniak / Anna Marc, its directors, owners, staff, trainers, assistants, contractors, volunteers, representatives, agents, property owners, affiliated persons and companies shall not be liable for any injury, illness, accident, damage, loss, cost, claim, expense, emotional distress, financial loss, property damage, or death arising from or connected with the participant’s attendance at the Open Day.
This applies to all incidents occurring before, during, and after the event while the participant is on or around the premises, including the parking area and any outdoor spaces connected to the event.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes liability where such exclusion is not permitted by law, including liability arising from intentional misconduct or gross negligence where applicable.
4. Health, Safety and Fitness to Attend
The participant confirms that they are physically and mentally fit to attend an active equestrian yard environment.
The participant agrees to behave responsibly, calmly and respectfully at all times. The participant must follow all instructions given by OneHorseLife staff immediately and without discussion, especially around horses.
The participant agrees not to:
- touch, feed, approach, distract, call, clap at, run near, or interact with any horse unless expressly invited by OneHorseLife staff;

- bring dogs or other animals onto the premises unless expressly approved in writing in advance;
- smoke, vape, drink alcohol, use drugs, or attend under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or any substance affecting judgment or coordination;
- behave loudly, aggressively, carelessly, disruptively or unsafely;
- interfere with horses, training, equipment, gates, fences, vehicles, machinery or other participants.
OneHorseLife reserves the right to refuse entry or require any participant to leave immediately if their behaviour is considered unsafe, disruptive, disrespectful, inappropriate, or harmful to horses, people, the property, the event, or the reputation of OneHorseLife.
5. Insurance Requirement
The participant confirms that they have valid and sufficient insurance coverage for attending the Open Day.
This may include local insurance, national health insurance, personal liability insurance, travel insurance, accident insurance, medical insurance, or any other insurance suitable for the participant’s situation and country of residence.
The participant confirms that their insurance covers, or does not exclude, risks related to visiting an equestrian facility, being near horses, attending demonstrations, travelling to and from the event, and participating in activities connected with the Open Day.
The participant is solely responsible for checking their own insurance coverage before attending. OneHorseLife is not responsible for the participant’s medical costs, travel costs, repatriation costs, loss of income, property loss, or any other uninsured or underinsured loss.
6. No Riding or Horse Handling Unless Expressly Approved
The Open Day is primarily an observation, education and presentation event.
The participant may not ride, handle, lead, groom, touch, feed, train, or interact with any horse unless OneHorseLife gives clear and specific permission.
If any direct horse interaction is expressly permitted, the participant confirms that they do so entirely at their own risk and only under the conditions set by OneHorseLife.
7. Confidentiality and Non-Disclosure Agreement
The participant acknowledges that during the Open Day they may see, hear, observe or receive access to confidential, proprietary, private or commercially sensitive information belonging to OneHorseLife, Anna Marciniak / Anna Marc, OneHorseLife trainers, clients, students, horses, business operations, training methods, educational materials, demonstrations, conversations, exercises, techniques, systems, concepts, procedures, horse assessments, movement analysis, business plans, pricing, client information, facility layout, internal organisation, unpublished materials, or other non-public information.
The participant agrees that all such information is confidential and may not be disclosed, copied, recorded, photographed, filmed, described, published, taught, reproduced, shared, distributed, discussed publicly, posted online, used for business purposes, used to create similar services, or communicated to any third party without the prior written consent of OneHorseLife.
This confidentiality obligation applies during the event and continues after the event without time limitation, especially where the information concerns OneHorseLife methods, trade secrets, know-how, intellectual property, training systems, client information, horse information, business information or unpublished material.
8. No Photo, Video or Audio Recording Policy
The participant agrees that taking photos, videos, audio recordings, screenshots, livestreams, reels, stories, voice notes, or any other recordings is strictly prohibited anywhere on the premises, unless OneHorseLife gives explicit written permission in advance.
This includes, but is not limited to, recording:
- horses;

- conversations;
- educational explanations;
- facilities, stable areas, arenas, paddocks, equipment, signs, documents, screens or materials;
- any OneHorseLife method, technique, exercise, protocol, demonstration or presentation.
The participant understands that this no-recording rule is part of the confidentiality agreement and is essential to protect OneHorseLife’s intellectual property, trade secrets, safety, privacy, horses, clients, students and business reputation.
Phones may only be used for personal communication where appropriate and must not be used to record the event.
9. Social Media and Public Communication Policy
The participant agrees not to post, publish, share, describe, comment on, review, discuss, distribute or communicate any confidential or identifying information from the Open Day on social media, websites, forums, private groups, messaging apps, blogs, newsletters, podcasts, videos, or any other public or private platform without prior written consent from OneHorseLife.

- negative, misleading, harmful, defamatory, incomplete or out-of-context statements about OneHorseLife, Anna Marciniak / Anna Marc, the horses, staff, students, clients or other participants.
The participant agrees that any permitted social media mention must be respectful, accurate, lawful, non-confidential, and pre-approved by OneHorseLife if it includes any detail beyond a general statement that the participant attended the Open Day.
10. Intellectual Property
All OneHorseLife methods, techniques, systems, educational materials, explanations, demonstrations, exercises, names, concepts, course structures, logos, texts, videos, photos, training frameworks, horse assessments and know-how remain the exclusive intellectual property of OneHorseLife and/or Anna Marciniak / Anna Marc.
Attendance at the Open Day does not grant the participant any right, licence, permission or authority to teach, copy, reproduce, use, publish, sell, imitate, adapt, reverse-engineer, distribute, explain or commercially exploit any OneHorseLife material, method, concept, technique or system.
11. No Promotion of Third-Party Methods, No Solicitation and No Competitive Use
The OneHorseLife Open Day is organised exclusively for the purpose of presenting, explaining and demonstrating the OneHorseLife methods, philosophy, training system, educational structure and professional pathway.
The participant agrees not to use the event to promote, advertise, sell, recommend, distribute, present or discuss competing methods, third-party training systems, equestrian techniques, horse products, services, courses, clinics, events, schools, trainers, businesses or commercial offers.
The participant may not distribute flyers, business cards, brochures, links, QR codes, discount codes, invitations, product samples, promotional materials or any other marketing materials related to any third-party business, method, trainer, product, service or event, unless OneHorseLife has given prior written permission.
The participant also agrees not to solicit, recruit, approach or target OneHorseLife clients, students, staff, trainers, visitors, guests or other participants for any competing or unrelated commercial, professional, educational or promotional purpose.
All demonstrations, explanations, observations and materials presented during the Open Day are provided strictly for introductory, informational and demonstrational purposes only. Attendance at the Open Day does not give the participant any right, licence, permission, certification or authority to practise, teach, reproduce, adapt, copy, imitate, explain, sell, promote or commercially use any OneHorseLife method, technique, exercise, concept, terminology, training structure or educational material.
The participant may not use anything seen, heard, learned, observed or experienced during the Open Day to create, develop, improve, market or sell any competing or similar product, service, method, course, clinic, training programme, educational material, social media content, business offer or professional system.
The participant may not state, suggest or imply that they have learned, mastered, been trained in, been certified in, been authorised to use, or are connected with any OneHorseLife method or system as a result of attending the Open Day.
Any breach of this clause shall be considered a breach of confidentiality, intellectual property protection and the social media/public communication policy, and may trigger the contractual penalty and all other legal remedies available to OneHorseLife under these Terms & Conditions.
12. Contractual Penalty for Breach of Confidentiality, Recording or Social Media Rules
If the participant breaches the confidentiality obligations, no-recording policy, social media policy, intellectual property provisions, or any related restriction in these Terms & Conditions, the participant shall immediately owe OneHorseLife a contractual penalty of €5,000 per breach, without prejudice to OneHorseLife’s right to claim full damages, legal costs, injunctive relief, removal of published material, correction, rectification, or any other available legal remedy.
The penalty becomes due immediately upon breach, without requiring prior notice of default, warning, or further demand, to the extent permitted by law.
Each separate act of recording, photographing, filming, publishing, sharing, forwarding, disclosing, copying, distributing, or unauthorised use shall be considered a separate breach.
Payment of the penalty does not give the participant permission to continue the breach and does not limit OneHorseLife’s right to seek immediate removal, deletion, further compensation or court intervention.
13. Removal of Unauthorised Material
If the participant records, photographs, films, publishes, shares, forwards, stores or distributes any material in breach of these Terms & Conditions, the participant must immediately delete and permanently remove all such material upon request by OneHorseLife.
This includes deletion from phones, cameras, computers, cloud storage, social media accounts, websites, messaging apps, private groups, emails and all other storage or publication channels.
The participant must provide written confirmation of deletion if requested.
14. Privacy and Personal Data
The participant understands that OneHorseLife may process personal data provided during registration, including name, contact details, attendance information, emergency information, consent records and communication history, for the purpose of organising and managing the Open Day.
OneHorseLife may also need to use participant information for safety, legal, administrative, insurance, accounting or dispute-related purposes.
OneHorseLife will handle personal data in accordance with applicable data protection law.
If OneHorseLife wishes to photograph or film participants for promotional or educational purposes, this should be handled through separate consent where required.
15. Minors
Participants under the age of 18 may only attend with prior written approval from OneHorseLife and must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at all times.
The parent or legal guardian accepts these Terms & Conditions on behalf of the minor and accepts full responsibility for supervising the minor during the entire visit.
OneHorseLife may refuse attendance by minors if the event, environment or circumstances are considered unsuitable.
16. Personal Belongings and Vehicles
Participants are solely responsible for their own belongings, vehicles, clothing, equipment, bags, phones, cameras, jewellery, documents and other personal property.
OneHorseLife is not responsible for loss, theft, damage, contamination, breakage, weather damage, horse-related damage, vehicle damage, or any other property loss occurring on or around the premises.
17. Biosecurity and Horse Welfare
The participant agrees to respect all biosecurity and horse welfare instructions given by OneHorseLife.
OneHorseLife may require participants to clean footwear, avoid certain areas, keep distance from specific horses, avoid touching horses, or follow additional hygiene procedures.
The participant may not bring treats, feed, supplements, equipment, tack, grooming tools, or other horse-related items onto the premises without prior approval.
Horse welfare, safety and calmness are the priority at all times.
18. Right to Refuse Entry or End Participation
OneHorseLife reserves the right to refuse entry, cancel registration, remove a participant, end participation, or stop the event for safety, horse welfare, weather, operational, legal, reputational, or organisational reasons.
If a participant is removed due to breach of these Terms & Conditions, unsafe behaviour, inappropriate conduct, or disrespectful behaviour, no refund or compensation will be due.
19. Event Changes or Cancellation
OneHorseLife reserves the right to change the programme, schedule, demonstrations, horses, trainers, speakers, location areas, group size, start time, end time, or event structure at any time.
OneHorseLife may cancel or postpone the Open Day due to weather, illness, horse welfare, safety concerns, operational issues, force majeure, legal reasons, or circumstances beyond its control.
20. Ticket Price, Cancellation Policy and Transfer of Credit
Once a participant has registered for the Open Day and the ticket fee has been paid, the registration is considered final. Cancellations and refunds are not possible.
If a participant is unable to attend the Open Day, the paid ticket fee may, at the sole discretion of OneHorseLife, be transferred to another available OneHorseLife Open Day, subject to availability and written confirmation by OneHorseLife.
Alternatively, the ticket fee may be used as credit toward selected OneHorseLife products, including OneHorseLifePLUS, OneHorseLife book bundles, or OneHorseLife online courses, provided the purchase is made within 72 hours after the Open Day.
The ticket credit has no cash value, cannot be exchanged for money, and cannot be partially refunded if the value of the selected product is lower than the ticket fee. The credit can only be used once and only for purchases made directly through OneHorseLife, unless otherwise agreed in writing by OneHorseLife.
21. Indemnity
The participant agrees to indemnify and hold harmless OneHorseLife.com B.V., Anna Marciniak / Anna Marc, its directors, owners, staff, trainers, assistants, contractors, volunteers, representatives, agents, affiliated persons and companies from and against any claims, damages, costs, losses, expenses, legal fees or liabilities arising from:

23. Severability
If any provision of these Terms & Conditions is found to be invalid, unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain valid and enforceable.
The invalid or unenforceable provision shall be replaced, to the extent possible, by a valid provision that comes closest to the original purpose.
