After weeks of just waiting for Cadeau de Dieu to show me her way to be ridden, after discovering BodyMarc DUO and deepening even more my understanding of the essence of CONNECTION that we can have through the bodies, after few times in the arena and round-pen spent on just Calm standing together and maybe few steps of trot at a time from the saddle — WE ARE HERE:
Cantering in the forest, enjoying first small jumps, and just walking around together AS IF WE HAVE BEEN DOING IT FOR MONTHS.
But in the reality it’s our first hack from the saddle.
And she is behaving like an adult horse, melting in the oceans of Calmness, joy and love. Watching carefully my body, listening to my voice and reassuring me every step that she is MORE THAN READY FOR THAT.
…and we haven’t even cantered or trotted properly at home before. We started this hack being led on the lead-line by my working student Zuza Bednarz from Silvaner, as Cadeau’s skills of turning or stopping were not yet quite there, but the more we Calmed in the forest, the more we were melting together when my hand was touching her body – the more CONNECTION BETWEEN US FILLED IN ALL THE BLANKS OF SKILLS and allowed us to experience the PURE BEAUTY and MAGNIFICENT GIFTS of the first hack:
Cantering…
Jumping small logs…
Walking over the water…
Walking past small outdoor obstacles…
I never visualize things, because REALITY is so much RICHER than what the human mind can ever imagine.
