We all know that fighting is not a good way to act. But, at the same time, we admire fighters. We admire people who fight to have great bodies. We admire people who fight to be fit. We admire people who fight to teach a horse great movements. We admire people who fight “in a good cause”. We admire fighters and fighting.
When you fight with something you disconnect with it. When you fight with your body to loose weight using a diet, you disconnect with your body. When you fight to teach your horse to do something, you disconnect with your horse. I am not talking about aggression, I am talking about “trying hard” attitude. When you fight with other people because you think that “they are wrong”, you disconnect with them.
When you disconnect you cannot influence any more. You can fight your body and “shape” it, but only for a short time. To change your body, you have to act with it. You can fight your horse, with force or with clicker, and have some short term results, but to change your horse you have to act with him.
You can fight with other people and make them agree with you, but to bring change you have to act from the level of love.
When you fight something you always fight yourself.
When you fight yourself, you disconnect with the REAL YOU. You cut yourself off from the place where the change is possible.
When your awareness expands, you see that no-one is fighting back with you. You only fight with yourself.
When you act from the level of Calmness you take different actions. You do “nice things” you “set the boundaries”, you laugh, you reward, you do exercises, you nurture, you eat. All these actions are coming from the place where you are connected and you always act together.
When you do not judge these actions, they always work and bring the real change to your life.
Anna, simply stunning. I was just on your website now as I am looking for an article that will inspire a friend of mine and this one is simply perfect. I am so excited to share it with him. Lots of love to you!
