It takes guts to be thankful for the storm…
When it’s good, it’s good. It’s easy to have a healthy and a nice horse, a happy life, to be fulfilled in the marriage and at work… it’s easy to send smiles to the right and left and tell everyone how happy and easy life brings more happiness and easiness back to you.
The moment of truth comes with the storm 🌊🌪
When your horse is acting crazy, when he is ill, when your parents get old and need your help, when your marriage is rocky, and at work everything falls apart.. When the more you try, the worse it gets…
Guess what, I have been there too 💥💥💥
And I learned that BIG STORMS are the promise of the BIG CHANGE. The question is: Are YOU ready for this change?
It’s easy to change when you live like a surfer, riding the enormous wave of the Nature’s support 🏄🏼☀️
The moment of truth comes with the rocky waves 🌊 — it’s the moment in which you can show if you still believe that life divides into “happy light solutions” for the happy&easy times, and “serious approach”, “serious solutions” and “serious life” for the serious problems …
I everyday receive emails and messages from people experiencing PROBLEMS with their horses. Most of them were happy and experienced true miracles and how easygoing life with horses can be…until they met the first “serious” obstacle on their path.
And then their trust broke completely…
😱⚡️⚡️
Either their horse refuses to accept the saddle, is not loading to the trailer, or is seriously backing and spooking when ridden out…
I advice these people what to do, and many times in response I hear “YES, thank you…but my problem is more serious than your advice” and “I think I need to do something that’s REALLY WORKING now” (=come back to the old patterns of pressure/release).
It’s easy to be a positive trainer/partner for your horse when everything works perfectly. It’s easy to live in gratitude when it’s raining gifts ☔️🍍🍉🍒
It’s a moment of truth to learn who YOU REALLY ARE when everything falls apart.
You can discover to which cupboard your hand reaches out for the tools: LOVE and TRUST, or CONTROL and FEAR.
And this will answer the question if you are truly ready for the big change that will come after the big storm…
